Wilderness Experience, Leadership & Service Program strives to develop outdoor leadership skills in 7th / 8th graders in Fayette County. Our vision is to provide opportunities for every 7th / 8th grader in Fayette County to experience our local outdoor recreation, develop job skills and cultivate pride in our local community.

We are seeking Adult Mentors to guide & encourage our Spring 2023 group of youth. PA State Police & Child Abuse History Clearances required. Participation in Mentor Orientation required.

The Spring Session runs April 30th through June 5th. Currently, we have accepted 14 local Fayette County youth into the program and 2 high school interns. We look forward to another session of adventure, leadership-building & fun!
